Barbie’s work is driven by a clear purpose: to stand with those who have been harmed and ensure their voices are heard. She fights for justice with determination, compassion, and an unwavering belief that the law should protect those who need it most. Known for her thoughtful problem‑solving and trauma‑informed approach, Barbie meets each client where they are and works tirelessly to secure the outcome they deserve.
Since graduating from Western New England University School of Law in 2018 and joining the Massachusetts and Connecticut bars, Barbie has dedicated her career to serving victims and uplifting those whose rights have been ignored or violated. She began her legal journey as a clerk for the Honorable Douglas Lavine of the Connecticut Appellate Court, sharpening her ability to analyze complex legal issues. Most recently, she worked at the Victim Rights Center of Connecticut for five years, where her dedication to her clients, attention to detail, and strong work ethic resulted in her promotion to Assistant Program Director. In that role, she provided compassionate, effective legal representation to victims of crime across multiple practice areas. Her ability to connect with clients, understand their trauma, and chart a legally sound path forward has earned her a reputation as a legal advocate who brings both heart and skill to every case.
In 2025, Barbie joined Forrest Legal, where she is honored and excited to bring her broad professional experience and robust skill set to the team. She is honored to serve her clients with the same sense of purpose that has guided her career from the beginning: justice, dignity, and meaningful support for those who need it most.
Originally hailing from Ohio, Barbie is proud to now call Wethersfield home. Outside of the office, you’ll find Barbie with her wife and dog, spending time at local events in the Wethersfield community.
